How we write our guides

Useful first, careful always

Move Well Spain writes for people planning a real move. Our guides explain the questions to ask, the documents to prepare and the decisions that connect. They are general information, not a substitute for an individual legal, tax, immigration or insurance assessment.

Sources and review

We prefer primary sources, including Spain’s official legislation database, government immigration guidance and the authorities responsible for the relevant procedure. Each substantive guide shows its principal sources and the date they were checked. A professional review is identified only when the named reviewer, their role, the scope of the review and the review date are recorded. Product terms and administrative practice can change, so readers should confirm current requirements with the office handling their application before committing money.

Authors and individual credits

Move Well Spain is the organisational author responsible for the editorial preparation of its public guides. The visible byline and structured data use the Move Well Spain editorial team unless an individual author profile has been approved for publication.

An individual author or reviewer is credited only after their approved full name, short biography, function, relevant credentials and the date and scope of their work on that exact page are recorded. An operational role shown on our About page does not by itself mean that person wrote or professionally reviewed every guide. Language review is also distinct from legal, tax, immigration or insurance review.

When these details or the page-specific approval are missing, we do not publish a personal byline, a reviewer credit or Person schema. Each guide’s review-status section states what has and has not been reviewed.

Artificial intelligence

Drafting tools may support research organisation or language work, but they do not replace source checking or professional review and are not used to create credentials, experiences or testimonials.

Insurance content

Public insurance content is written without favouring a particular insurer. We distinguish common market features from contractual guarantees and explain when copayments, waiting periods, exclusions, pre-existing conditions or visa requirements may vary. An enquiry is not a promise of cover or visa acceptance.

Corrections

If you identify an error or an outdated source, email info@movewellspain.com with the page address and the point that needs review.
